Brian W. Chan, D.C.
Dr. Brian Chan, a native of Kent, WA, is a second-generation chiropractor. He received his chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA, where he graduated with honors and cum laude in 2002. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT for his undergraduate studies. Although Dr. Chan loved the warm sunny Californian weather, he was happy to move home to Seattle to join the practice with his brother and father.
As a chiropractor, Dr. Chan's specialty includes the treatment and management of work-related and whiplash injuries. He spends many weekends attending continuing education in the fields of whiplash treatment and work injury management. In 2009, he became a graduate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego's Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology program. He is an active member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Chan also specializes in the treatment of patients with coccydynia (tailbone pain). He uses a specific treatment technique that has successfully helped many patients recover from this debilitating condition.
Dr. Chan believes in the integrative approach to healing and recovery. He works with a network of physicians that include neurologists, orthopedists, and physiatrists and was accepted into the North American Spine Society in 2009. He is also well respected by his peers and colleagues. In the September 2005 issue of Seattle Magazine, he was voted by his colleagues as a doctor in which they would refer their own family members to.
When not seeing
patients, Dr. Chan enjoys spending time with his wife Rebecca and two
boys. He and his family currently reside in Queen Anne, where they
enjoy spending time at the local parks, being involved in the
community and church, and spending time with friends and family. Dr.
Chan's hobbies include rockclimbing, volleyball, deep-sea fishing,
and wrestling with his boys.
