Shao-Hao (Richard) Cheng, D.C.

Dr. Shao-Hao Cheng is from Taiwan and fluent in English, Mandarin, Taiwanese and limited Japanese.  After getting his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, Dr. Cheng then joined the Taiwanese Air Force in the east coast of Taiwan for a year and half. He was the Lieutenant Officer in charge of sports facilities management, physical and athletic training, and various sports competition events. Prior to earning his doctoral degree, he earned another Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and a certificate in Acupuncture from International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. While in school Dr. Cheng also participated in several research projects ranging from biomechanics of the spine, Development and Evaluation of a Reversible Small Animal Model of the Chiropractic Subluxation, and data collecting and analysis on the project entitled, “Flexion/Distraction vs. Medical Care for Neck Pain (HRSA III).”
